公共藝術《享受美好・大直正好》以「展開的紙冊」為創作概念，將城市視為一本持續書寫的日記，記錄人們在大直生活、行走與相遇的每一個當下。

作品以藝術家朱振南的書法為核心。朱振南將傳統書法轉化為當代公共空間的藝術語言，桃園國際機場大型書法裝置《機場之歌》即為其代表作品之一。「享受美好・大直正好」以厚實而富有速度感的筆墨書寫，在收放、轉折與飛白之間展現自由流動的氣韻，使文字兼具書法的力量與當代視覺張力。

作品兩側融入大直橋與劍南山的景觀意象，透過金屬、光影與層次變化，呈現大直從白晝到夜晚的城市風景；跑馬燈隨時間呈現日期與氣溫，將每一天的城市變化融入作品，也提醒每日往來的人們，在匆忙的腳步之間看見當下，感受生活裡正好的美好。

Enjoying the Good Life, Dazhi is Just Right takes the form of an “open book,” imagining the city as a diary continually being written and capturing moments of everyday life in Dazhi.

At its heart is the calligraphy of artist Chu Chen-Nan, who transforms traditional calligraphy into a contemporary artistic language for public space. His monumental Song of the Airport at Taoyuan International Airport is among his best-known works. In this work, bold, expressive brushstrokes bring the phrase “Enjoying the Good Life, Dazhi Is Just Right” to life. Shifts in weight, movement, and dry-brush textures create a dynamic rhythm, giving the characters both the strength of calligraphy and a distinctly contemporary presence.

Inspired by Dazhi Bridge and Jiannan Mountain, the installation combines metal, light, and layered forms to reflect Dazhi from day to night. A digital display shows the date and temperature, bringing the rhythm of everyday life into the work and inviting passersby to pause amid the city’s hurried pace, appreciate the present, and enjoy the beauty of life.

朱振南 CHU CHEN NAN

朱振南為臺灣知名當代書畫藝術家，創作歷程橫跨六十年，以融合古典筆法與當代表現聞名，致力於將書法從平面視覺轉化為具空間感與生命力的藝術實踐。1996年公費赴法國留學。在臺灣、美國、法國、日本、中國、新加坡等地舉辦個展。於2023年更捐贈兩件作品予法國政府，於法國外交部展出，持續以書畫作為文化外交的橋梁。 最廣為人知的作品為《機場之歌-在旅行的路上》，其為桃園國際機場 T1 創作之巨型書法光廊，結合方文山詩詞，自設置以來成為臺灣最具代表性的書法公共藝術。在臺灣有許多單位典藏、展覽及公共空間的大型創作，如司法院、法務部、高雄市立美術館、桃園市立美術館、臺北市政府大廳、臺灣桃園國際機場、臺北藝術大學音樂學院、台北車站、臺灣東部鐵路站名題字等。

Chu Chen-Nan is a leading Taiwanese calligraphy and ink artist whose career spans more than six decades. Blending classical brushwork with contemporary expression, he expands calligraphy beyond the page into spatial and public art. After studying in France on a government scholarship in 1996, he held solo exhibitions across Asia, Europe, and the United States. In 2023, he donated two works to the French government, now displayed at the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, furthering cultural diplomacy through calligraphy and painting.

His best-known work, Song of the Airport – On the Road, is a monumental illuminated calligraphy installation created with lyricist Vincent Fang for Terminal 1 of Taoyuan International Airport. His works are also held and displayed by major museums, government institutions, universities, transportation hubs, and public spaces throughout Taiwan.
